Our mission is to foster a productive exchange of information and views among military intelligence professionals, their partners and those they serve. We support the professional development of military intelligence practitioners, help recognize outstanding performers and strive to increase public understanding of the valuable contributions military intelligence operations make to national security and homeland defense.

We conduct two symposia each year and co-sponsor a number of others, publish twice-weekly and semi-monthly electronic news summaries and publish the American Intelligence Journal twice a year. We host an awards banquet each May to recognize and honor those who have provided truly exceptional military intelligence support to help ensure our national security, and we present NMIA awards to distinguished graduates of US military colleges and intelligence organizations.
